Project Manager

Seeking a Project Manager to run commercial construction project from start to finish at Great Lakes Mechanical. Experience required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Job Turnover Meeting
  • Present Estimate to Project Coordinator for Job Number
  • Present Project to Field Superintendent
  • Locate Trailer Site, if required
  • Review Contract and then Present Contract to President for Signature
  • Attend Job Meetings
  • Review All Meeting Minutes for Approval/Acceptance
  • Schedule Detailing Department, if required
  • Prepare Scope of Work Statement
  • Prepare Project Schedule
  • Award Purchase Order to Material Suppliers/Subcontractors
  • Prepare "Buy-Out" Estimate
  • Schedule Delivery Dates for Materials Purchased
  • Provide Subcontractors with Preliminary Start Date
  • Order Submittals
  • Review Submittals
  • Schedule Subcontractors and Monitor Progress
  • Bid All Changes to Contract
  • Analyze Project and Prepare Monthly AIA Billings

Director of Temperature Controls Division

Seeking an experienced individual to operate the complete Controls Division of Great Lakes Mechanical.

Job Responsibilities:

Project management:

  • Review contract for accuracy / scope of work
  • Obtain job number
  • Prepare project schedule
  • Compare pricing and aware purchase order to material supplier/subcontractor
  • Review, prepare and distribute submittals
  • Schedule delivery dates for materials/equipment purchased
  • Bill all changes to contract
  • Maintain authorized work orders and submittal logs and binders
  • Respond to daily correspondence and day-to-day issues
  • Prepare, copy and distribute close-out documents
  • Quote scope of work and pricing
  • Complete punch list items, if applicable
  • Oversee collection of final money
  • Archive project documents

Installation:

  • Honeywell Tridium ACS
  • Program
  • Graphics
  • Coordinate project start-up and equipment start-up
  • Remotely monitor controls

Coordinate/subcontract labor forces:

  • Provide subcontractors with preliminary start date
  • Schedule subcontractors and monitor progress
